Before Muma ever existed, I was just another woman shopping around for activewear and swimwear — and constantly struggling to find my size. Everything either fit awkwardly, felt cheaply made, or just wasn’t available at all. It was frustrating!

That experience sparked something bigger. I decided that if I couldn’t find what I needed, I would create it — not just for me, but for every woman who deserves to feel confident and seen.

Muma Brand officially began in a small but meaningful space: my two-bedroom, two-bath apartment in Miami. That’s where every single plus-size bikini is still sewn today — made to order, one piece at a time. It’s not the easiest way to run a business. Offering extended sizes is costly, time-consuming, and truthfully, not always the most profitable. But it’s the right thing to do.

Each plus-size bikini is crafted when the order comes in, allowing us to ensure the fit, fabric, and construction are just right. No mass production. No settling for less. Just beautiful, flattering swimwear that celebrates your body exactly as it is.
